TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Dulau & Company, 37 Soho Square, W.
Date13 July 1894
DescriptionRix lists eight overseas publications which he asks that they obtain for them, and further asks that they inquire on the Royal Society's behalf concerning the price of 'Theory of the Earth' by James Hutton, 1795.

He further asks if they would like to offer a price for the literary series of the Paris and Vienna Memoirs. He has been instructed by the Library Committee to investigate what they would fetch, and although he believes he has asked before, does not recall having received a definite offer. Rix also asks what they would pay for a complete set of 'Notes and Queries' up to the present time.

A manuscript postscript states that they did not send the prices and specimens requested. They would now be of no use, as the Committee have had their meeting.
