TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Miss Edwardes. Field House, High Barnet
Date16 July 1894
DescriptionRix reports that he has Edwardes' note to Miss Chambers, and that her name was mentioned to him by their Treasurer, Sir John Evans, so her candidature will be considered. He asks that if she is in town between 11 and 4 on any day except Saturday that week or the next, that she call at the Royal Society to see him for an interview.

Miss Chambers is noted as currently on leave, so Rix will not make any definite appointments until her return in around two weeks time.
