Description | Rix notes that the grant of May 1892 and that of July 1893 must be separately reported on. As he understands, their report of March 1893 was an interim report, as the money was not all expended. He explains that an annual interim report will be expected until all the money is expended, and then a final report to give the accounts and the stage the research had reached at that time.
The same course is to be pursued with regard the supplementary grant from the Donation Fund, made July 1893, but in this case the report should come to the Royal Society through Dr Tilden. |
