TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to J C Francis, "Notes & Queries" Office, Bream's Buildings, Chancery Lane
Date25 July 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
In answer to your note of yesterday, I will ask the Treasurer what he thinks about your proposal. As to the "Gossip" paragraph, I think it will be better to reserve that until I have had time to write to the various academies. I hardly like that they should receive the blow first through the public press.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
