TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Horace Hart, Clarendon Press, Oxford
Date25 July 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
I am instructed by our Treasurer to inquire whether you would be willing to do some photographic blocks, to go in the text of our publications, similar to those formerly done by the Meisenbach Co., and if so, how much per square inch you charge for such work. The inquiry has not reference to any particular memoir, but is of a general nature with reference to future arrangements. I am, at the same time, to ask whether you could give us an average price ^per 1000^ for collotype plates of biological subjects (including paper).
I am, yours faithfully,
H Rux
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
