TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Few & Company
Date26 July 1894
DescriptionAt the request of the Treasurer, Sir John Evans, Rix informs them of resolutions passed at the last meeting of the Library Committee on the 12 July, which is noted as being subject to Messrs Few & Company's opinion; namely, that they agreed to give Messrs Kegan, Paul & Company notice that their arrangement with the Royal Society to publish the Separate Papers of the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' will cease at the end of the year, and will be offered to Messrs Dulau & Company for a period of seven years.

He also incloses a copy of the Council minute of 17 June 1875 appointing Messrs Trubner & Company, now part of the firm Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Company, publishers of the Separate Papers from the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', but states that no copy of the letter to Trubner has been preserved. Rix also encloses a draft of the letter to Messrs Kegan Paul, Trench, Trubner & Company [NLB/9/911].
