TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr Collings, Surrey Chambers, 172 Strand, W.C.
Date27 July 1894
DescriptionRix sends instructions regarding papers.

He notes that their estimate for the map and cut for Professor Hartley's paper was three pounds, 12 shillings and six pence, but that the cut is eliminated and only the map is to be done. It may be reduced as much as they wish, providing the figures are legible, and should go into the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' page.

Encloses three curves for a 'Philosophical Transactions' paper by Dr [Walter Sydney] Lazarus-Barlow to form 2 blocks. He notes that they may be done white on black if this is cheaper than zinco.

Encloses eight curves and one diagram for Miss [P G] Fawcett's 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' paper. Rix asks for an estimate, but also asks that they proceed with the work at once and complete it as quickly as possible, as they are for inclusion in the June number of 'Proceedings' which they are currently making up.

Encloses three diagrams for Cardew & Bagnold's 'Proceedings' paper, and as with Fawcett's, asks that they proceed at once as these are also wanted for the June number.
