DescriptionJames encloses a letter from Henry Wilde which accompanies two papers, 'On the Causes of the Phenomena of Terrestrial Magnetism, and on some Electro-Magnetism for exhibiting the Secular Changes in its Horizontal and Vertical Components', and 'On the Unsymmetrical Distribution of Terrestrial Magnetism', as presented in 1890 and 1891, referred, and archived. They have been presented again, marked 'revised'.

Wilde also sends a printed separate copy of his printed 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' paper 'On the Influence of Temperature upon the Magnetisation of Iron and other Magnetic Substances', which he wants printed in 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. James has acknowledged receipt of his letter and documents.
