TitleImportant letter from Mark Oliphant re Technical and Anderson Committees.
DateJanuary 1946
DescriptionThe letter comments very unfavourably on progress to date, its operation under the Aegis of the Ministry of Supply ('a colossal mistake'), loss of personnel 'through the policy of dalliance', and Blackett's presumed acquiescence or responsibility in view of his Socialist policies.

Blackett has numbered sections of the letter and his mansucript notes for a reply are attached, together with manuscript 'Notes on conversation with JDC' [Sir John Cockcroft]
