DescriptionLockyer shares the spectra of manganese as observed in his investigations, sodium as observed by Ångström and 'the chief aurora line' as observed by Huggins. Includes a note to the engraver. In the published paper, this diagram is labelled as 'Diagram comparing the manganese fluting with the aurora line, the D lines being also shown for comparison.'
