Title | Paper, 'On the electrolytic diffusion of liquids' by G [George] Gore |
Date | 1881 |
Description | Gore describes apparatus designed for the purpose of ascertaining whether the mass of liquid expands or moves as a whole in the line of the current when an electric current passes vertically through the boundary surfaces of mutual contact of two electrolytes lying upon each other. He conveys his observations on experiments made using the apparatus.
Annotations in pencil and ink. Includes one diagram of experimental apparatus.
