DescriptionBeddard writes: 'The specimens upon which the following observations are based I owe to the kindness of Professor T Jeffrey Parker, of Otago University [New Zealand; Aotearoa]; I received from him a large number of examples of an earthworm which appears to belong to Perrier’s genus, Acanthodrilus, though differing from any of the species of that genus as yet described.'
