The plates correspond to the following papers from volume 134: 'A description of certain Belemnites, preserved, with a great proportion of their soft parts, in the Oxford clay, at Christian-Malford, Wilts' by Richard Owen; and 'On the reproduction of lost parts in Myriapoda and Insecta' by George Newport.
The remaining plates correspond to the following paper: 'On the fossil remains of the soft parts of Foraminifera, discovered in the chalk and flint of the South-East of England' by Gideon Algernon Mantell. |
