DescriptionPlate 26, figures 7-24 showing various views of the whole and parts of the anatomy of the Halodactylus diaphanus, including the pharynx, vessels in the tentacular ring, arms, gemmules [groups of embryonic cells], and cilia. All figures drawn separately and pasted onto a single backing board. Inscribed recto and verso with publication and plate details. Signed bottom right 'Arthur Farre del.' Embossed stamp verso on backing board reads ‘Turnbulls Crayon Board’. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'Observations on the minute structure of some of the higher forms of polypi, with views of a more natural arrangement of the class' by Arthur Farre.
