Description | Plate 13, figure 1 and plate 11, figures 4-6 (labelled here as figures 5-7) showing various views of the cranium and teeth of the Thylacoleo carnifex. Inscribed recto and verso with publication and plate details. Faint graphite sketches of other figures appearing on the published version of plate 13 surround figure 1. Figures 4-6 drawn separately and pasted onto backing sheet. Signed in ink bottom right 'G. Scharf del 1851'. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
