Description | Paper brought by Mr Chamberlayne on the plague at Copenhagen which began in the beginning of July 1711 and decreased by September the same year. There were 60,000 inhabitants before the plague. It was thought that about 2,000 were born every year and about the same number died each year; it was thought that the plague killed 25,000 people.
