Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. The author's attention may be directed to the use of the phrase 'less perfect' when they mean 'more imperfect'. All the illustrations should be reproduced. Whether the author's are right or wrong in their conclusions with regard to the affinities of the fossil, they have undoubtedly afforded important information with regard to its internal structure by their new method of investigation.
