Title | Memoranda from Robert William Frederick Harrison, and reply from Wiliam Davidson Niven, on a paper 'Mathematical concepts of the material world' by Alfred North Whitehead |
Date | 14 December 1905 |
Description | Whiteheads paper is estimated to form 65 pages of Philosophical Transactions at a cost of about £36. The remarks of the referees are enclosed herewith [not attached]. If the Chairman concurs with Professor Larmor's suggestion that the paper might go to press, Harrison asks him to mark those portions of the referee's reports which might be sent to the author for consideration.
Niven states that Burnside's remarks should be submitted to Whitehead. Recommendations one and two of Burnside's report, marked in blue pencil, should also be submitted as suggestions.
