TitleReferee's report by Charles Scott Sherrington, on a paper 'Observations on the labyrinth of certain animals' by Albert A Gray
Date[March 1906]
DescriptionSectional Committee: Zoology

Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Suggests adding a section of main conclusions. The illustrative photographs are finished in an unsuitable type, even another finish such as collotype would probably give unsatisfactory results. Suggests making simple line drawings for illustrative purposes. The current illustrations also do not show the same structure in different organisms at the same angle, making comparison difficult, but which could be remedied with the aforementioned line drawings.
