TitleReferee's report by James Charles Philip, on a paper 'The swelling of charcoal. Part I.—Preliminary experiments with water vapour, carbon dioxide, ammonia, and sulphur dioxide' by D H Bangham and Nazim Fakhoury
DateAugust 1930
DescriptionSectional committee: Chemistry

The authors have not met the previous referee's criticisms. The form isn't up to the usual standard of the Proceedings. The discussion section is too excessive. The whole theoretical discussion should be completely revised and modified when accurate measurements are available.
