Title | Letter from William Sharpey, to George Gabriel Stokes, regarding a paper 'On the structure and formation of the so-called apolar, unipolar, and bipolar nerve-cells of the frog' by Lionel Smith Beale |
Date | 10 August 1863 |
Description | Is satisfied with the reports on the author's paper and gives the order to proceed with printing. Agrees that the reference to Jacob Augustus Lockhart Clarke's paper need only be a brief acknowledgement of recognition. Suggests the author plan the figures out in order to calculate the expense. Agrees with the hand-colouring of the figure as it will aid clarity and is only a modest expense. Asks for the referees of Marshall's paper [John Marshall? RR/5/140-141].
