Reference numberRR/6/176
TitleReferee's report by Edward Frankland, on two papers 'Researches into the chemical constitution of narcotine, and of its products of decomposition.—Part III' and 'Researches into the chemical constitution of narcotine, and of its products of decomposition.- Part IV' by Augustus Matthiessen and Charles Romley Alder Wright
Date21 April 1869
DescriptionRecommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Paper number three is an important continuation of earlier papers by the same author. Is less certain about paper number four, as the results are inconclusive. If the paper was not part of a series, would recommend publication in the Proceedings, but as it forms part of a series suggests it should be published with the others.
