Title | Referee's report by David Keilin, on a paper 'Siderocytes in mammalian blood' by R A M Case |
Date | [1944] |
Description | Sectional Committee: Physiology
Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Feels, however, that the Proceedings might not be the best channel for disseminating the information to specialists in the field. A paper such as this would be expected in journals such as the British Medical Journal, the Lancet or the Journal of Pathology and Bacteriology. Suggests the communicator Lancelot Thomas Hogben considers this point, but if he insists on publication in the Proceedings, he would accept the paper without discussion.
Contains extra question - 'Is there any information contained in the paper which likely to be of value to the enemy?' Referee replies no.
