Title | Letter from Geoffrey Ingram Taylor, on a paper 'Radially symmetric phase growth controlled by diffusion' by Frederick Charles Frank to D C Martin, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society |
Date | 13 January 1950 |
Description | His criticism of the paper was based on a misunderstanding for which the author was responsible. He introduced the the word 'impurity' without previous explanation. This is an 'abuse of language', but there is perhaps no point in raising objection to this, as it is a 'matter of taste'. He has no further objections to publication.
