TitleLetter from John Ambrose Fleming, to George Gabriel Stokes, regarding a paper 'On magneto-electric induction in liquids and gases.—Part I. production of induced currents in electrolytes' by John Ambrose Fleming
Date12 November 1877
DescriptionHis work on the subject of induced current in gases has been interrupted, although initial experiments were inconclusive. Has recently resigned as Science Master at Cheltenham College and taken up a studentship at St John's College. Suggests altering the title of the paper to remove reference to gases. Will endeavour to continue the research.
