TitleReferee's report by Lazarus Fletcher, on a paper 'On a meteoric stone found at Makariwa, near Invercargill, New Zealand' by George Henry Frederick Ulrich
Date24 January 1893
DescriptionRecommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Refers to John Wesley Judd, who asked the referee to repeat the chemical analysis which failed in New Zealand. As such, the paper was held back in the hope the analysis would be completed and incorporated, but this has not been possible. Usually the paper would have been submitted to the Mineralogical Magazine, but the author was adamant it should be submitted to the Royal Society.
