LevelItem
TitleReferee's report by William Augustus Tilden, on a paper 'Argon and its companions' by William Ramsay and Morris William Travers
Date29 November 1900
DescriptionSectional committee: Physics and chemistry

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions in full. It is possible that slight compression of the descriptions of the operations of fractionation et cetera might be effected without loss of clearness, but as the subject is new and the work will not likely be repeated by many people, considerable detail is necessary. All the figures should be reproduced. The authors have not referred to the results published in a incomplete state by Professor Ladenburg and Kruegel and there appears to be no very definite reason for doing so.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions, 1901].

Endorsed on verso as received 1 December 1900.
