Title | Referee's report by John Henry Poynting, on a paper 'Ionic sizes in relation to the conductivity of electrolytes' by W R Bonsfield |
Date | March 1905 |
Description | Sectional Committee: Physics and Chemistry
Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. The description of viscosity apparatus might be shortened as it is practically the common apparatus and the results only are valuable. All the illustrations except those of the viscosity apparatus should be reproduced, the latter would be much better illustrated by a diagram than by the photographs. Discusses the fundamental hypothesis of the paper and notes that it suggests research to test the applicability of the formulae Bonsfield formulates, to other aqueous solutions.
