Title | Letter from Randal Thomas Mowbray Berkeley, on his paper 'Contributions to the osmotic theory of solution', to the Secretary of the Royal Society |
Date | 6 December 1908 |
Description | Author is outraged at the negative report he received from the referee. Claims that the referee 'cannot have read the paper'. His ideas may be considered 'premature' as they are new. Refutes the claim that the paper is too complex and says they cut down a good deal of the argument in order to meet with the wishes of the Royal Society. Asks for the referee to provide solutions to the problems they found with the paper. The Royal Society can defer the paper if they wish, as long as they send it back.
