TitleReferee's report by Arthur Mannering Tyndall, on a paper 'The collection of positive ions by a probe in an electrical discharge' by Robert Lewis Fullarton Boyd
Date1949
DescriptionSectional committee: Physics

Recommended for publication, after revision. The paper is fifty percent more than the normal length of a Proceedings paper, but he is hesitant to recommend publication in Philosophical Transactions instead. Some parts of the paper 'read like a PhD thesis'. The phrasing in the paper is sometimes too 'wordy'.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society A, 1950].
