TitleLetter from Thomas George Cowling, on two papers 'Electronic wave functions - I. A general method of calculation for the stationary states of any molecular system' and 'Electronic wave functions II. A calculation for the ground state of the beryllium atom' by Samuel Francis Boys to D C Martin, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society
Date13 September 1949
DescriptionDoesn't feel able to give a proper report on the paper, as the paper mainly deals with quantum mechanics and he has 'only a general acquaintance' with the subject. The opinion of a specialist should be sought. The author's presentation 'left something to be desired'. This could be improved by re-writing the paper.

[Both papers published in Proceedings of the Royal Society A, 1950].
