TitleReferee's report by Paul Dirac, on a paper 'Wave equations in momentum space' by M Levy
Date31 May 1950
DescriptionSectional committee: Mathematics

Paper reference code: A89

Recommended for publication in Proceedings. States 'The paper merely expresses known solutions of wave equations in a different form. It is quite obvious that it must not be possible to resolve all the functions of positions into their Fourier components and then work entirely with these components, and the detailed carrying out of this programme, as is done in the present paper, is not of much interest to the physicist [...] The only interest in the paper is on the mathematical side.'
