Date25 July 1974
DescriptionGold has just received with much regret the form letter rejecting support for the millimeter dish pilot model project. He is very concerned to understand mor about this rejection, since he certainly plans to do more work in this area, and must understand what is holding it up.

Recites history of the proposal, and states it is the case of an evolution of a major line of instruments, and that they, as well as the NSF, have to make decisions that will have consequences for much of radioastronomy in future years.
