TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr Peter B Boyce, Program Director for Astronomical Instrumentation and Development, National Science Foundation, Washington DC
Date10 October 1974
DescriptionThanks Boyce for the invitation to attend the workshop meeting on future direction of millimeter wave astronomy. Gold will be pleased to attend, although unfortunately only until early afternoon because he has an important commitment in New York in the evening.

He would very much welcome an opportunity, in the course of the morning, of presenting the reasons for perusing the Arecibo - type system for millimeter wave antennas. Boyce will recall that this was taken very seriously by the two Dicke Committees and Gold feels that it should remain in the forefront of the discussion.
