TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Sir Herman Bondi, Ministry of Defence, Main Building, Whitehall, London SW1, England
Date22 October 1974
DescriptionStates that he regerets he has not heard much, and nothing in recent times. Gold made clear that only an entirely unanimous decision was of interest, and it may be that this is not in the cards - as Ray thought it was not.

Gold is sorry to have nothing to say now, but will write some letters to elicit infromation and let Bondi know.

Gold spoke to Bondi's cousin Arnold in Houston on the telephone recently, seeking information for an article Gold is writing on the non-biogenic origin of oil, and the great profusion of it that the earth is likely to possess. Arnold was helpful, though very sceptical of Gold's funny views.

Gold has become a father once more - another daughter, Lauren, born October 3, and all inexcellent condition, except the father, who is feeling a little weak.
