TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr D Lal, Scripps Institute of Oceanography, Mail Code A-020, University of California, PO Box 1529, La Jolla, California
Date8 July 1975
DescriptionThank Lal for his kind letter. Gold is glad Lal envisions a wider range of possibilities than are usually discussed. He is afraid that the NASA officialdom appears simply annoyed with Gold for raising questions when they would like to be able to report a consensus of opinion. States there is a very real risk now that they will discount all support fo lunar work at Cornell.

Discusses the Canyon Diablo Chips and their distribution.
