TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr T Gehrels, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, The University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona
Date17 August 1975
DescriptionThanks him for the letter and two referee reports. Has taken note of the points raised by one referee, and added two paragraphs concerning outflowing plasma.

Cannot accept the commenst of the other referee at all, and gives his reasons.

Regrets that the typographical error which was present in the uncorrected copy and which was ssent instead of the corrected copy.

Gold considered that in a publication of a conference one is prepared to publish important points that were raised, with less concern to make each contribution as much of a complete entity as a separate scientific paper should be.
