DescriptionConcerning his possible leave of absence next academic year. Is on the point fo finalizing the arrangements to accept a Luce Professor ship at Mr Holyoake and the Five College Astronomy Department. He expects to give his acceptance (contingent on being granted a year's leave without pay at Cornell) by the middle of next week, and will inform Harwit without delay. However, he considers the probablilities are high enough that Harwit can commence action now to look for a subsititute.
