TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Professor Phil Morrison, department of Physics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts
Date9 July 1976
DescriptionAdds his good wishes on the occasion of his birthday.

Is enclosing some pages which he wrote for the issue of Technology Review, at their invitation, but which they unfortunately rejected. He had inquired beforehand and been assured that no political considerations would be allowed to interfere in this case. However he does think that in the end Technology Review thought it undesirable to get on to bad terms with NASA and the aerospace industry.

At any rate, Gold thought Morrison might like to read it, even though it is not in beautiful print with illustrations etc. Gold will probably publish it elsewhere eventually.
