TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Mr John Harris, Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas
Date20 April 1976
DescriptionEncloses the correspondence they submitted in January, whilst Harris was away. Gold has marked in red the budget submission that was given as the minimum at which they would not have to dismiss their staff, Dr Elizabeth Bilson adn Mr Richare Baron. As Gold has said, they do not regard this figure as sufficient for an efficient operation, and he would hope that Harris might at least find some compromise between their original submissiion and this figure, so that laboratory supplies and services can be held at a more efficient and productive level.

He was very glad of the moral support Harris gave Gold in their conversation in Houston. He has also had a lot of favourable reactions to his presentation there.
