TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Professor E Salpeter, Newman Laboratory, Cornell University
Date15 October 1965
DescriptionAsks Professor Salpeter how things are going. Says that 'Bondi thinks that Rotators are solved and work (disks of cold self-gravitating gas, zero pressure, angular momentum only). This, if true, would be very exciting as it would mean that these beasts ought to exist, of stellar masses or bigger'. Also says that 'Sydney is very nice, as you know. For once I am not overworked here and can contemplate Rotators and such'.
