TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to William Bradley, Institute for Defense Analyses, Research and Engineering Support Division, Arlington, Virginia
Date21 September 1966
DescriptionSetting out his thoughts on tanks. Says 'I would suggest asking the tank warfare expert in the Pentagon to write a note on the importance to tank warfare of improved terrain capability, lessened vulnerability to mines, and larger size and range (not an appreciation of the particular proposed method, but of the importance of achieving, by any means whatever, the stated aims)'. Also says that Arthur Kantrowitz of AVCO is interested in working on the telefactor. Is there any chance of this?
