DescriptionTells Dr Messel when his wife and two daughters will arrive in Australia. Asks Dr Messel if he could get his daughter, Lucy admitted to school there. Says that 'by the time this [letter] reaches you, Frank Drake will probably have arrived. He is a very nice fellow and I hope he hits it off with your crew there'. Gold has just appointed Frank Drake as Associate Director of CRSR [Center for Radiophysics and Space Research]. Therefore Frank Drake will be in charge while Gold is in Australia.
