TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr Marten Schmidt, Mount Wilson and Palomar Observatories, Pasadena, California
Date27 April 1967
DescriptionSays that radio observations from Arecibo [Ionospheric Observatory] are producing a considerable number of 'accurate positions and identifications of radio sources'. Says that, in order to ensure that these are readily available, they will send the results out from time to time. Says that they believe that the best arrangements for publication arising from such cooperation would usually be a joint authorship between those optical and radio astronomers involved. Goes on to talk about those arrangements in more detail.
