TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Professor B Y Mills, FRS, The Chatterton Astronomy Department, School of Physics, University of Sydney, Sydney
Date3 July 1967
DescriptionSays that they are sorry that they upset Professor Mills. Says that, as Jauncey was unable to find the time to write a proper paper [possibly for an American Astronomical Society meeting] and have it approved by Professor Mills, he gave up on it and withdrew. Says that Jauncey will write a paper in time and give it to Professor Mills before anything else is done with it. Also says that there was never any intention of carrying out 'any of the naughty things' Professor Mills talked about in the first paragraph of his letter.
