TitleLetter from Thomas Gold to Dr Harold Urey, School of Science and Engineering, University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, California
Date29 February 1968
DescriptionEnclosing his two notes on Surveyor results [not included with this letter]. Says that Surveyor VII has provided nearly the same results and goes on to comment that 'the surface is indeed well mixed'. He thinks that this argues against 'local igneous activity'. He is also inclined to think that all of the Moon is homogeneous, as Gast proposes.
