Very happy to have the amendment that authorized Gold to appoint a project engineer.Discussea a propsal to establish a liaison group of NSF, NASA ARPA representative to coordinate the various research programs planned for Arecibo. Arecibo seems to have a very high reputation in the Soviet Union, and he has heard some rumours that they are building similar style spherical systems.
