TitleLetter from Elizabeth Bilson to Profesor D R Bates
Date27 January 1970
Description "Whilst reading J M Reifferstein's paper entitled "The Craters and Rilles of the Moon in a New Sight" Professor Gold was surprised to find an exact quotation from a paper of his presented at the December 1964 meeting of the American Geophysical Union in Seattle. As a matter of fact in the Transactions of the American Geophysical union, Vol. 45, No. 4, December 1964 only an abstract appeared of this paper entitled "Surface Structure of the Moon" and Professor Gold was unaware that it appeared anyplace else in print. Would it be possible for you to learn somehow from Mr Reiffenstein, where he was able to get a hold of the entire paper? Professor Gold would be very glad to have this reference himself. I hope this won't be too troublesome for you, but Professor Gold often wished in the recent past if he would be able to posses a rweprint of this paper. "
