DescriptionContains letters and an e-mail to Thomas Gold from various individuals, varying in date from December 1975 until July 2003, praising Gold for a lecture or presentation he had given. Some of the letters also express agreement with his ideas and praise his book, 'The deep hot biosphere' or papers he had written. The file includes a photocopy of a letter from Edward M Kennedy, Senator for Massachusetts, to Dr Richard C Atkinson, Director, National Science Foundation, dated 13 April 1978, in which he says that he is impressed by Gold's testimony before the Subcommittee on Energy of the Joint Economic Committee on the origin of hydrocarbons. The file has been labelled 'Correspondence to save'.
