DescriptionMiscellaneous assortment of papers found in a file labelled 'Humor'. The papers include the reworking of a passenge from 'Alice in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll, cartoons, an imagined conversation between President Reagan, Meese and Mr Beggs regarding the construction of a permanent manned space station, humorous poems and quotes, after dinner talks and the transcript of an interview, dated March 1973, about how lunar science is on the right track. There are copies of a review by Gold of a paper he wrote entitled, 'Terrestrial sources of carbon and earthquake outgassing', a paper by Engelbert L Schuking, 'The first Texas Symposium on Relativistic Astrophysics', which appeared in 'Physics Today', Aug 1989, a paper by Gold entitled, ' The deep hot biosphere', which appeared in the 'Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA', Vol 89, Jul 1992, and a letter from Thomas Gold to Dr S F Singer, dated 7 Jan 1996, about global warming.
